I think it's a little different for each of us, with low blood pressure...I do one can of Sprite Zero per day and a can of good old fashion Campbells Chicken Noodle soup every other day...It is my Cardiologist who suggested this, as I have been working to get off of as many "meds" as possible...For me, sodium is the key...Just like anything else, it needs to be adjusted based on how much you sweat, others things you eat and what your daily activity level is...
I take salt pills. It it low all the time or orthostatic hypotension? For that there is a relatively new medication Northera for low BP specifically for people with PD. I used it but it raise my BP too high.
drink V-8 juice, with some salt init.
I think the main thing is to keep hydrated , drink plenty of water, when my husband had septicaemia his blood pressure dropped dangerously low the doctors put a drip in each arm and manually squeezed the fluids into him so I presume. drinking adequate amount of water would help avoid low blood pressure.
