@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member, Glycopyrrolate is also used during surgery to dry up secretions during surgery. Atropine is aan off lable use, meaning somehow somewhere someone figured out that it dries up drool if applied under the tongue or back of mouth, lol.

Anyway, John is three days now on the 2mg of Glycopyrrolate at 7am and 2mg at 7pm and it seems to be working. The wash cloth I tuck undef his chin at nighg to absorb the drool was dry this morning! And he is not drooling streams all day long. I hope this continues for a while and gives the guy a break.

Assuming you mean drooling?? My husband has a problem with drooling. We tried atropine drops under tongue but that didn't help much so we tried atropine swishing. Not much better. Now we are trying glycooyrrolate and that is somewhat effective. John wears a wash cloth under his chin all day around the house and carries one when we go out of the house. Not much else that can be done is my understanding. Anyone else??
