Is HIGH Blood Pressure Associated With Parkinson's?
Does anyone here have high blood pressure issues? I've heard the medication can cause low BP but is high BP associated with PD also? I ask because I haven't slept all nite and my heart is racing. I got the brilliant idea to check my BP and it was 192/120 with a RESTING heart rate of 138!! Maybe it has something to do with the insomnia? I take one blood pressure medication twice a day.

I also am having fluctuating BP. This started recently after my new medication. The Dr. keeps insisting that it has nothing to do with it but I have never been hypertensive before this so I am not sure what is going on.
I have the fluctuating and dropping. Mine has gotten to the poi t of dropping so fast and so low that I am passing out. It is very scary. After a trip to the ER, I am to follow up eith my doctor today. Hopefully, they can prescribe a magic pill.
Yes, and can drop significantly when you stand. That's another symptom.
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member I learned in that Michael J Fox webinar that BP tends to be higher when we've been laying down. I've noticed that's true of me.
I have a high blood pressure when I got up from bed. but seems to go back to normal after a few minutes after I get up. it puzzles me at times.

My Blood Pressure Is High In The Morning, (150/83) But After I Eat Lunch My Blood Pressure Is Low (111/62). Is This Due To Parkinson's?
