I fall frequently
There was a point before my MDS got my medication levels straightened out that I used a U-step walker, and I do have it available for really "off" days. I wasn't falling, but a problem with tilting forward (festination). It is very stable, and doesn't move until you squeeze the lever (like a reverse brake). I got to test it before they ordered it at a Physical Therapy appointment, you'd have to check with your insurance company to see if they cover it.
Does anyone lean to one side when sitting in an unsupported chai
