We Spend A Lot Of Time Taking PD Very Seriously. Anyone Want To Share A Funny Story Or Incident That Happend To Them?

I went to a new internal medicine doctor because mine moved. It took her forever to come in and see me, when she did, she had a print out of nearly 20 pages in her hand about PD. I think she was googling PD, because then she starts to ask these crazy questions about Dyskinesia. All I needed was a flue shot. So now I am on the hunt for another internal medicine doctor.

I'm on Ropinirole and my neurologist just added Sinemet (Levodopa/Carbidopa). I haven't started it. I should be getting it in the mail this week. I look take Azilite.

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member I don't know if you will think this is funny but when I first started on ropinirole I started sleep walking and raiding the chocolate cupboard in the middle of the night. Three or four times during the hot weather I woke up covered in the stuff all over me, the. bed, my husband everywhere mind you I wasn't laughing at 3am when I had to change the bed sheets.x. MG

I don't blame you...I would also be looking for a new doctor. They aren't easy to find though.

My caregiver, my wife of 45 years, went to University of FL, PD clinic and I was going thru a narrow door to have an intake interview, and I froze. I told the young woman inside the room that and she said, " are you cold, let me turn the thermostat up". I told her that I have Parkinson, and I am not cold.
