My doctor wants my wife to try Rytary for a month. She has a problem of falling back and leaning to her right Thank you for any help
That it is a time release version of carbidopa-levodopa is right. I don't understand why it acted like it did and differently for the two of us. Neither of us have ever had any trouble with Sinemet - it is just inconvenient to take it so often - and often we forget even though we have an alarm set for each of us. We both also use the neupro patch to even out our Sinemet. Do believe that helps a lot.
I was but it makes me feel I'm. In speed n drunk. Problem with balance. Stumbled into things
Suggest BIG physiotherapy for balance.
If you go to rytary.com they have programs to help you pay for their medication they have a discount card and they also have a program to help financially pay for the medicine hope this help somebody
I tried the Rytary. It didn't help. It is time released so it seems that it would be very difficult to eat at all. You have to take the carba/leva an hour before you eat and at least an hour after you eat. How can you tell when the pill is going to release and how can you eat to prevent it from conflicting with the pill. I would think the Rytary would be negated most of the time. That's just my reasoning for why it didn't work for me.
