I have seen an occupational therapist.She gave me useful daily life tips for dealing with my YOPD.I learned that it's important to cut my food in small pieces to prevent choking.Also, I learned to sit down while I am cooking to preserve my energy.She told me that there was adaptive equipment for PD.I have purchased everything ; a chair for the counter ( for cooking ) special knives, grap bars for the bathtub,a bath mat to prevent me from falling, a hand held shower, a higher toilet seat,a grap… read more

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member Adaptive equipment is usually sold in specialized stores,orhtopedic stores, some items can be found in big chain pharmacies.Your OT can maybe provide you with a list of stores where you can buy adaptive equipment
