Overheating When Walking?
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone else get very hot under the collar when walking? I find that I overheat regularly even in cold weather whilst doing the slightest of energetic tasks. No matter the quality of the fabric and wicking qualities I often find my clothes soaked after a long walk.

I had severe problems with over-heating, so much so that my mum had to put a cold flannel on my forehead because I would be almost passing out. I figured out that this was caused by ropinerole... and I was right, because I stopped taking it and it hasn't happened since.

The inability to control body temperature is a common symptom of PD, I'm afraid, @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member. I'd suggest layering your clothing and removing a layer when you need to (within reason, of course!!), then you can put the layer back on if/when you start to chill.

I have not had this specific problem as stated but do have a problem with body order and try to shower frequently with good a good body wash but does require the frequent use of lotions
