Jefferson, SC

I have noticed that my saliva has thickened and gathers in my throat. I find myself almost congested and have constantly clear my throat. Does anyone else have this problem. If so, is there something you do to help or alleviate the problem. I don't drool, and my mouth and throat stays very dry, but it seems it sticks in my throat. Appreciate any input.

Thanks

I have had good luck using a Neti pot to clear my nose and throat. It takes a little practice, but it's worth it.

I too have dry mouth and eyes. My dentist recommended Act mouthwash. My eye doctor recommended Systane eye drops.

I have this as well, so i try to drink lemon water to hydrate and i believe the lemon helps to break up the phlegm in the throat.

The medication gives me a very dry mouth, dry eyes and nasal passages. I don't have much saliva either. I drink a lot of water. I carry a water bottle with me at all times. I also use the biotene mouthwash and spray. I use Refresh eye drops, also. It does help.
