My apologies for bringing up this unpleasant subject, but most PD-related problems are unpleasant.

Hi Denis,I'm Betty Don't ever apologize for something when you don't know the answer .In each &visit I have had with my doc. or his A.P Iam asked if I have a B.M daily .I was put on @Merlax when I told her no .She told me that was very important that PD'ers have one B M daily. If not the bacteria builds up which can cause gas,If left alone it cause infection I followed directions on bottle BOYYY NEVER AGAIN, When I finally settled down took 3 or 4 days for being pottie friendly I shook enough in the cap that you could see it.Maybe 1/16 of a teaspoon. Only used it 3 times in the last 6 months & never the amount stated.! Talk to your doctor about this an see if possible this could help you as to where you don't have your nightly visit.Take Care God Bless Hugs πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

I suffer from IBS.
I'm more likely to suffer with diarrhea first thing in the morning, but then I can end up with constipation a few days afterwards.
I'm looking more and more into diet management. Starting on a good quality probiotic supplement when I get paid.
Lactose can cause problems if you have leaky gut it so I've heard.
I will dig out some information that I've saved somewhere when I remember!
