Cardiopa Levodopa is the generic.

Rytary I think she said it is time released and more costly

Try to get your Dr to add either entacapone or stalevo to your mix they both lengthen to life of l-dopa meds on a good day I can get 6hrs out of mine. Xx

i noticed no difference in on time between generic levodopa and sinemet, but my doctor indicated that some do so we gave it a try. i'm using Rytary now and i like its relatively long duration of action but i do tend to go off at 3.5 hrs. it seems slower to get me back "on" than immediate acting levodopa.

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member We too were told that Sinemet it the brand name. Leon does not want me to know his dosage or to go into his meetings with his neurologist.
I'm ok with that. Hurt feelings at first, but with group and learning as much as I have , I understand that is just "PD". That is what I tell myself. Much ❤️ love- Sherwon
