What Physical Activity Helps You Most With Your Symptoms?
@DavidB- I, too, think that Rock Steady Boxing is the most helpful, but I find other programs help, too. I'm 66 and am certainly not the oldest there.
I have found that the Rock Steady Boxing program helps me more than most others I have tried. I currently practice yoga, Tai Chi, bicycles, walking, meditating, and light therapy. These allow me to have a normal life. I was diagnosed 13 years ago, and am 79 years young.
@ Edie, Big and Loud is a great program My parents like the Dancing with Parkinson's video, you can do it at home sitting, I'm a second generation PD patient both parents have PD also.
I just try to be active but that is difficult for me because my back will start hurting and I have to use my brace I do exercise and wanted to join a group that is wonderful called Big and Loud but transportation is a problem
I stretch the muscles in my legs and joints. It feels like I need to, so that is what I do. At the same time I apply essential oils. I don't know if the oils help or if it is the message.
