I am 63 and have been dealing with tremor for about 5 years. It is mostly my right hand. At first it was a little shaky, now when nervous I can't type on the computer or control my hand which made frosting a cake interesting this week. Meds help some but as I age, they don't help as much.

I am 58 and diagnosed 3.5 years ago. I am maintaining and keeping active riding my horse and still competing. I do have to get my rest or I can have a bad day where my left side dies not work as well.

I am on levodopa - one pill 3 times a day and 1 ragisaline each morning. Plus I take lots of vitamins. My left side is affected. My left leg will shake slightly when I’m tired but no one can see it. Plus my walking gets worse when I am tired. I believe in doing everything in moderation. Stay as healthy and active as you can Enjoy life

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member Boy are you right about how hard it is to ask for help. I'm grateful when somebody holds a door because that is SO hard. But otherwise I want to do it myself if I possibly can (I remind me of my daughter when she was 2 - "No, Mommy. ME do!")

I love that you are still riding and competing! Are you currently on any meds? I start Artane next week for a tremor in my hand. Honestly, if not for the tremor, I'd hardly notice any signs of PD - and I'm hoping it stays that way!
