It is about big--fingers spread, arms spread wide, standing tall--and its about loud--speaking loud, stomping loud, and walking loud. Ask your doctor, I go to a physical therapist through the hospital. It lasts for four weeks, four days a week, a hour per day. These are exercises to help us keep moving, we need to commit to doing them for the rest of our lives if we want to continue the things we love to do. I want to be a writer, I am taking online classes to achieve a BA in Journalism, just a few months to go. I believe if I continue the exercises I will have 20 years to write. And I want that.
YeS!!!!worked just great..go to utube to see what about..highly recomend you give it a try..
I had not thought about the facial muscles, you are right. People with Parkinson's really need to keep all of their muscles limber and useful. Thank you for the tip. Hugs.
YES!!!
I find it helps that my Fitbit vibrates every hour to remind me to get up and move. Also, setting my cell phone alarm to go off so that I know it's time to exercise. But it's easiest for me to go to an exercise class (Rock Steady Boxing, etc.) because of the fun and cameraderie (it's exercise and support group rolled together).
