Hi Becki and great question - my understanding on the use of CBD Oil is limited to two different people i know who swear by its use - one person is a PD'er and the other a non PD person who has an auto immune disease that leaves her hurting all over etc...
Both have told me two things about using CBD oil - one is that it "works' for some people and does not work for others AND THE MOST important thing is to "smoke" the oil like many of us did in the 1960's and 1970's - I think you go to a VAPE store and ask the folks how to smoke the oil with one or two tokes of it etc....but both people I know swear by using the oil and besides helping with their associated pains, there is the benefit of using the non THC oil so you don't get blasted and high....
Keep on fighting the good fight and suggest your hubby tries to "use" the oil for a month or so before you make the possible decision that the Oil does not work - all the best and pls keep us informed on the progress or lack there of - J
The best thing to do is speak to your doctor about it and go from there
My husband tried the CBD oil under the tongue...the ONLY effect he seemed to have was in his emotions. He was VERY emotional and cried a lot. As he is already suffering from depression, we didn't want to make that even worse! He tried it several times with the same results each time.
I tried the Hemp oil for a while but it didn't work for me. I now use medical marijuana which does help. I only use it in the evening after I get home from work. I take it with a vaporizer. It doesn't cure anything but it does reduce my tremors and allows me to sleep at night. Yes it does make me a little loopy but I can deal with it.
There is a lady on this site who recommends it her name is Barbara Lund, I'm sure she could give you information on it.
