Hi can anyone help please. My mum has PD and at the moment she can't settle in bed and keeps turning from side to side for the 1st hour or so. She keeps saying it's her legs so we think she might have restless leg syndrome. Can anybody help?
One option is for your mother to meet with a sleep disorders specialist. The specialist will probably recommend that she spend a night at a clinic so that your mother can be properly diagnosed. I… read more
The idea is that a familiar recorded voice is triggered when you beginning to move too much on the bed and that it will wake you or calm you enough so that you don't injure yourself.
Oh my God, that is quite serious. Wow!!!! That sucks and I wish you great luck to a solution
The later you take your meds can make this happen.
Could someone find it in their hearts, to execute the courtesy and reply to my question, which is,
what is meaning of ,'stages' in respect to Parkinson's Condition.? I have not come across this term in this context.
Surely someone will know......

I’m not responding well to the demands, (I dropped 4 laptops today but thankfully they didn’t break), pressures, and responsibilities, feeling ineffectual and overly emotional. How do I regain control?
Thank you to everyone who has responded. I am going to use a headset with a microphone to dictate, rather than type, reports. I will be getting an Apple Watch to help with reminders for tasks… read more
