Is taking sinemet just before bed helps with sleep? Or make your more sleepy so you can fall asleep easer.?

Those simple tests like finger tapping, feet tapping, spelling last name backward, walking, turning.... She told me that maybe I should see psychiatrist for evaluation. I know that my anxiety and stress level is over the roof all my life. I think I was born worrying about everything but I don't believe that my hand tremor is caused by anxiety.

I am this same. I was taking sinemet twice daily morning and late afternoon. Yesterday went to see my neuro. Sinemet prescribed me my family doctor because I could not fall asleep with those hand tremors. Yesterday neuro sad she wants me to take them once a day 1 tablet because in July she wants me to take something different. She said I am too Yung for sinemet. I am 59. She did all those neuro tests again and said she does not see any symptoms of Parkinson but....i reminded her its because of medication. She wasn't sure and told me to come back in 8 weeks.

My husband started taking Sinemet when he was first diagnosed 9 years ago. Now the side effects are very bad, uncontrolled movement almost like the symptoms of the disease. So he has cut the dosage of Sinemet way down. Of course movement has decreased. Seems like a merry go round. From one problem to a next. Good luck, read and become informed and don’t be afraid to speak up at the dr office.
