I've had neuropathy in feet and left leg for several years now and it does affect your balance and how you walk simply because you can't feel your feet the way you used to. I am taking physical therapy to try to improve my balance and it helps because I was able to find a place called Fyzical where they have balance experts. It has offices in several cities and there may be one near you. Needless to say, this is all very frustrating and depressing.

My family doctor wrote me a script for Gabapentin and it took care of almost all the numbness and pain in my feet and legs. I stopped taking it because it cause me to have a lot of dyskinesia. I told my Neuro about it and he said to ask my family DR. seems he don't do any thing but PD.
