What Are Your "powerful Long Range Goals"?
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

I think this one makes a good Q+A too: Montana outhouse philosophy for the day: "We all need lots of powerful long range goals to help us past the short-term obstacles. Mgmt" Well, we all know what PD's obstacles are! But I think my "powerful long range goals" are to stay active, continue to be me, be pleasant, supportive & positive to others and to make the best contribution to the world I can, in whatever my sphere of influence may be...

When you didn't have PD you made future short term and long term plans. And life would get in the way and make us alter your plans. Same should hold true for PDers. I intend to continue to make future plans, but maybe keep them more short term. When life gets in the way, I'll adjust, Not planning ahead gives me a feeling of giving up and that won't happen.
