Interesting. I don't trust the mainstream Big Pharma drugs too much, but I'm also wary of some of the "natural" supplements. They can also be motivated by greed, leading to false claims, inferior research, quality ingredients, etc. Sadly, I feel strongly that prescribed medicine initiated all my health concerns to begin with. Eight years ago, I had immediate, painful reactions after taking Avelox (also known as Cipro and other names) for bronchitis. The first night I had severe leg cramps, followed by Achilles heal pains, anxiety, body shakes, and other symptoms. By the end of the week (after just 7 pills), I had many of the symptoms of Parkinson's. Within a few months, I was officially diagnosed with PD. I tried all the mainstream PD drugs, plus experimental ones. After no real help from them, I read an article about animal studies which showed great promise using NICOTINE tablets to slow and even reverse PD symptoms. So for almost a year I used nicotine tablets like candy, figuring they weren't dangerous. Although the nicotine helped more than any of the drugs I took, I may have misjudged with the self-medicating as I had an aortic dissection, barely surviving 13 hours of surgery and a stroke. I don't know if the nicotine contributed to this heart and vascular melt-down, but a stimulant could not be helpful if I was predisposed to have vascular issues. Coincidentally, I later found out that thousands of people had been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, MS, and several other major diseases after taking Avelox or Cipro and thousands more had contracted Aortic Dissections. Unbelievably, I got both of the major diseases - Parkinson's and Aortic Dissection! There are several lawsuits.

Even after all of this, I am currently trying to trust the medical community and doing my best to take the drugs they prescribe. But I still want to stay alert for REAL CURES rather than lucrative meds (for Pharmaceutical companies) that only help reduce symptoms and sometimes cause many more symptoms and even injury or death. Even so, I am currently using Mannitol Balance, along with my prescribed meds. I also use CBD oil and/or tabs or gummies. I'm anxious to try a blend of THC/CBD if my neurologist will hurry up and get certified (for medical marijuana). I'm also considering Restore Gold, Stem Cell Therapy, and other things. I would love to get any input from any of you who are finding success with any of these other approaches.

Hello Tom

Great info! My wife and I are both of the persuasion that natural is better than synthetic. We are not familiar with Mannitol, LDN or ibogaine. Will do some research. We are still trying to find the right ratio of THC/CBD. I have talked to a lot of folks that says it really helps them with anxiety and/or pain.

Thanks. Unfortunately most doctors are still frozen on Sinemet of the covered wagon days. Current choices are Mannitol, CBD, LDN (low dose naltrexone), Mucuna pruriens, Ibogaine, supplements of b-1, restore gold, amino acids, and others avoided by the FDA and pharmacy monopoly. Patients are best most times doing their own research with non-synthetic substances. Tom from California

Mannitol is an artificial sweetener in medical is consider an osmotic diuretic May help with Icp ,internal cerebral pressure At Israel a study call attention that manitol reduce protein clumps formation including alfa synuclein . Up to this moment no dosage related for Parkinson have been scheduled we still testing .But watch out commercial marketing is aggressive but not trust worthy .
