Apokyn Injection For Off Time With Tigan® (trimethobenzamide) For Nausea
Hello - is anyone on the Apokyn injection program? My husband is supposed to start it this week Apokyn is an injection medication that can be used up to 5 times a day for bad off times. It gives quick and short term relief similar to an inhaler. My husband's dr has also prescribed Tigan® (trimethobenzamide) to start 3 days before the Apokyn for relief of nausea, a side effect of Apokyn. Are you meeting with Mickey, the nurse in the circle of care program? Stan started the Tigan anti nausea meds yesterday and so far so good. I will keep you posted and please do the same. Thanks!
Yea, I had problems getting on the other day. Said the security certificate or something like that expired!! All seems to be working well now. Sent an update message about how hubby is doing. Hope you are doing well.
