I Would Like Info About Distonic Storms. I Have A Feeling That I Had One Of Those A Couple Nights Ago!

The other night, I had a strange sensation come over me. Very suddenly, I quickly felt like a strong voltage of electricity was running through my whole body! It lasted about 10-15 seconds. It hurt really bad. I was conscious the whole time. A friend, also a PWP, says get's this a lot. He said it is called distonia storms.

What is it? What am I in for? Is it common among Parkinson's patients?
