There is a lot of talk about this, but no definitive research. I eat a Mediterranean diet, and take my Levodopa with carbs (for nausea) and avoid protein for an hour (protein can interfere with absorption of Levodopa.) I exercise a lot, so have to worry about losing weight - so I try to eat healthy snacks - nuts, dried fruit, plain popcorn. I avoid fried foods and dairy because of some preliminary research about diet - : https://scienceofparkinsons.com/2017/09/18/food/

Levodop/carbidop should be taken with a glass of water. Protein affects the delivery to the brain so I usually have animal protein only with supper.

Make sure you get healthy fats into a well balanced diet. Like olive oil, omega 3s- walnuts, salmon, also avacado. Healthy fat is good for the brain.
