Does anyone else use a Vielight?
I bought one for my 65th birthday and have reduced my supplement use by 2/3rds in a little less than a year. I’m not sure if it deserves the credit but would like to know others experiences with it.
It’s a head gear that uses far infra red light to “reawaken” your dopamine producing cells. May work for SAD ?
I think I know what you're talking about. It's a low-level laser that works by stimulating the mitochondria (the energy producers) in the cells. I would think that once the neurons that produce dopamine are dead, that's it. It may slow progression, but not sure if it can regenerate cells.
It was part of my vestibular therapy after a bad car wreck I had in May. After the first treatment, I felt like a million bucks! Really helped with balance issues. Maybe it can help with balance issues in PD, not sure.
I would like to know what Vielight is also?
After surgery, I plan on using LLLT to help heal the bones. Lots of research shows it makes quite a difference. I have a chiropractor friend who offers it.
My neighbor came over today as I’m buying a 1/2 interest in his boat. He recognized my Vielight as he has one for his wife who suffered a stroke. He wondered what we’re the odds of us both having one as I now have met or heard of only two people w one. His wife has improved so who knows how much to credit it? He’s had his for three years n it’s still working so that’s good.
