Body Temperature Going Up At Certain Times Of The Day
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have been noticing that around 6pm every day, I have been having a sudden surge in body temperature, where I get "hot" for no apparent reason. Does anybody else get this?

Yes, especially when I'm "trying" to sleep. Get cold, put covers on--Get hot, kick 'em off. This goes on til morning.

My husband complains of being freezing cold around the same time of day. Actually his hands feel very cold. BUT he is sweating profusely and shaking arms/hands violently. The house is at 75 and everyone else is comfortable. He had meds so that they should be working at this time. This happened occasionally until recently when it has become much more often. Any experience out there with this, please???

It’s funny but I’ve been wondering why I feel freezing around five or six in the evening most days. PD does make it harder for your body to control your temperature. Hugs

My husband is usually always cold but that has been true since he had his thyroid removed because of cancer.
