Parkinson’s can affect histamine levels and create allergy symptoms. I’m told it’s a rare side effect.
I lived 79 years with no allergy effects, then being diagnosed with PD, I suddenly started having all the effects of what we know as hay fever. Sneezing, coughing from throat tickles. I tried the usual allergy, over-the-counter stuff with little if any relief After consulting an allergist, and trying lots of stuff, I found the only help came from a nasal spray, IPRATROPIUM BROMIDE, .03%, 2 Sprays each nostril, 3 times a day. It takes a prescription to get, It Makes a great deal of difference in my day. If I forget, my eyes start burning and tearing, and soon I’m coughing. Not easy to foget

yeah, good doctors are hard to find! they have to keep studying to keep up with he latest developemnts!. My surgeon for the pnemonia said, once you get pnemonia, it will keep coming back until it kills you!! I get an X-ray every 3 months! Thet caught 2 lung infections early, which i was able to stop with Antibiotics!! It's the leading cause of death for parkees!!!

When she was at hospital they did the swallowing test and it was good. This cough is really bad and the wheezing I can hear it at certain times of the day. I feel like she accumulates mucus in her throat and then the coughing starts. We try different cough syrup and pearl pills but nothing helps.🎒
