Do you have a tremor in your jaw? Possibly you grind your teeth in your sleep? If yes then ask your dentist about having a special mouthguard for sleeping. I had thought that I needed root canals because my teeth had become very sensitive to hot and cold. My dentist suggested a mouthguard to control my teeth grinding while I slept. I was skeptical. Turned out that he was right and the problem went away.

Thanks for the ideas...the reason for my rqueerie was due to a documentary I recently saw, called "Root Cause" which clearly ties in the concept that root canal is one of the worst things people do - since it's the only time one would put a dead body part back into the body, like a taxidermist would! And the decaying material would cause bacteria to go into the brain and other places. And I have about 7 in my head!

After so many dental procedures, i couldn't afford them anymore...then i found out a free dental clinic that will pluck all the rest of my teeth so i qualify for dentures...now i don't have to worry about my teeth anymore.. But this is all personal choice...you might think differently...

I've had at least 10. What fun. What an expense. Each followed by a crown. What fun. What an expense.
