A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

How fast is it working for everyone? What is the effect on the next dose of rytary? How often do you use it?

What dosage of rytary do you take and how do you get up at 3 in the morning? I am really interested.

Inbrija kicks in really fast. I feel the 1st half dose almost immediately.. 10 seconds or so. The second half of the dose and I'm feeling much better within 10-15 mins. I take my usual dose of Rytary without regard having used the Inbrija. Usually if I have a bad off event it's because the Rytary didn't kick in like it's supposed to. That could be because I ate too much protein or didn't eat and my stomach was empty.

For me Rytary seems to be working on some levels and not on others. I find my tremors reduced but still have sleeping problems and poor balance. Anxiety hasn't changed, still a problem. Cognitive responses seems to be a little bit better. I can't see a markable difference when I am taking it or not. Tomorrow I will be meeting with my neurologist to discuss the amount and frequency I need to take Rytary. I think he may increase the amount or the frequency.
