I totally understand where you are coming from. I an dating a really great man who is fight Parkinson's,and yesterday night I spent the night with him.I was sleeping right nest to him,and all of a sudden he hollered "Help!!! Help!!" Right in close proxity to my right ear. I actually jumped when my boyfriend did that.I was afraid that he was hurting, but in seconds I realized what it was,he was dreaming during a REM pattern of sleep, which of course is a syptom of PD.I then hugged him up close to me,he never woke up until morning. I may be strange, but I myself do not believe in husband and wife sleeping apart, while i do know that people suffering from PD do jerk and kick and move a lot in their sleep I still feel better if i stay and hold my man.
I had similar issues. Talked to my neurologist. I'm on clonazepam at night as well as Tylenol PM. Very few problems mow. Check with your neurologist.
