PD and ocycodone

PD and ocycodone

My husband fell. The MRI showed pulled hamstring. He was in so much pain. The ER doc prescribed 2- 5 mg oxy every 8 hours. He was so groggy. He couldn’t walk at all. Slurred speech. I lowered the dose (because no doc would call me back) and he’s much better. Should he taken ocycodonr at all?

It is likely to constipate him which will effect how well his meds work.

Oxycodone? If so my hubby had terrible episodes that caused a lot of problems, if so it’s a narcotic and many side effects and can be habit forming. Hope not.

I have Parkinson's and wouldn't take Oxycodone withiout my Drs consent. I spent a week in Colorado this summer visiting friends. We spent almost all of our triip trying to decide whether I should try the mediciinal mairjuana. I couldn't get through to my neurologiist so wound up not trying it. I have never used this before and had no idea wha it wiould do mixed with my meds.

It sounds like taking the Oxycodonr might have adversely affected his PD.
