My husband likes to buy things and leave them in the box for several weeks, then buys more until they are piled up in my dining room. I have noticed a reaction I have to this clutter when I am entering a room and my body is reluctant to go further. Is this crazy?
dianepark, this is Dave responding. Some people with PD, on some of the various PD meds, have compulsive disorders, gambling, spending money etc. Tell your PD doctor about what your husband is doing and they might adjust the dosage of his meds or even change his meds. Do it quickly before he spends you into the "poor house". God bless you.
For sure! It gives you anxiety!
Yes, can’t stand clutter!
dianepark I think that the reaction might be some to what a person grew up with.I was always taught to put everything where it belonged and a whipping if I didn't do it. Don't be in a hurry to blame everything on a specific issue. Could just be an ornery strict with him. Tell him you are going to start wrapping those things up for XMas if he doesn't move them.
