@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member, @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member.....To clarify, the idea of the NeuPro patch is to give a nonstop flow of CarboLevoDopa into the system. My Neuro said it would work best if applied high on the chest. I tried every area of my chest to find a place that wouldn't loosen during my day. Admittedly, I'm pretty active and I just couldn't keep the patch smoothly applied. Each new area required shaving, by the time I gave up, almost qualified for a Brazilian trim. :)
Lori, I wore the NeuPro patch for a month, decided to pass on it. I'm too active, I tried applying it in numerous places, but couldn't keep it smoothly applied, plus didn't see any improvement. But that certainly doesn't mean it won't work for you.
I find the best place to put your patches is on your bum. Not much hair to worry about and, for me, the least sweaty. Rarely comes off when placed there. Anywhere else seems to have too much skin movement or hair.
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member no idea about this patch. Thanks to you and @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member (and all) for putting it on my PD list of ideas. What works for one might not work for another. Doesn't hurt to try.
Dgmuckin; Did you see the post that Jud left on question and answers for NeuPro? If you look there's a web site and savings card information. I just didn't want you to miss it. Take care and be safe.
