My Neurologist who was on staff at the Cleveland Clinic as 'Movement Disorder Specialist' recommends taking your Levo on an empty stomach at least 45 minutes to 1 hr before a meal, if possible. Otherwise the pill will not dissolve enough to help us..

I am so tickled with my neurologist. He is the guru in Columbus and also has the title of "Movement Disorder Specialist". I could brag about him but his credentials do all he bravo's for him. He has helped me more than just dystonia and PD ....he keeps me sane as he knows I was very active. When PD stops you in the middle of living....he encourages you not to stop. My kind of miracle worker. By the way...I do bite....and I have all my shots.

Oh my. I am in agreement with the voice therapy. It does help to shape a person's personality when you can listen to them. At this point, I would rather continue at this level. Certainly we can become friends here and get to know the quirks of the PD journey for each other. Please have a great weekend.
