Nail Biting
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question đź’

Lately I have been biting my nail down to the quick. My nails used to be long until I got Parkinson's. I haven't told my Neurologist, yet. Anyone else have this, It seems like a trivial problem, though it concerns me.

It’s not quite the same and it’s kind of gross but I find myself obsessively scratching my scalp. I don’t know if it’s a compulsion From the disease or the medication. So I wonder if your finger nail biting is the same thing. I just have to consciously not do it if I find myself starting I just stop. I’m sorry you’re going through that and I wish I had a better answer for you.
