I use a 'nip glider' https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0785NPWMH/re...
It's very lightweight. I can lift it out of the car and unfold/fold it. The brakes
are controlled by hand (squeezing the handles) so some hand strength is
required. Love it. For those days when I want to go further than normal or
stay out longer and the cane isn't enough. I've had many folks ask about
it. It may be best to try out walkers at a medical store for the best match.
I keep threatening to put bicycle streamers and a bell on mine.

I saw an add a while ago for a walk specifically for people with Parkinson’s. It has reverse hand brakes, which means you squeeze the handles to walk and the brakes engage when you don’t squeeze the handles. I like the thought of that because sometimes when I’m using my walker to sit in it’s not sturdy enough to use to help me get up. Anyway that’s my two cents. I have a 4wheel Cadillac with padded chair, under seat basket and lower back support. Got it at a Med supply store for $134. And it’s a heck of a lot nicer then the one from the va.

I strongly agree with 4 wheels and a seat. I can store things in my seat. Only drawback is that it is s little heavier getting in and out of the car.
