Hey everybody!
I am not a doctor but I am an EXPERT on my own PD.

It is more difficult for me to swallow and therefore breathe when I exercise especially when I overstress my anaerobic/aerobic systems. I really believe that the neurology of the internal organs as to be impacted by this horrible enemy.

I think that PD manifests itself in my body with minimized lung capacity and raised heart rate when I exercise. Any time dopamine is lower and I am "down" and require carbidopa/levodopa (CL) breathing is more difficult.

One side effect of CL is lowered blood pressure. You might want to take your blood pressure every time you feel a change! OOooooorah!

So glad to hear that John. Sounds like she is finally getting the help she needs. The State where you live is known for giving excellent care. (I have family there.) It helps take the burden off both of you to make some progress. My wish for Jenny and for all of us is that a cure will soon be found.
God bless.

I have a very soft voice as one of my Parkinson's symptoms, and in addition to Tremble Clefs Arizona, working for 6 weeks every 3 months or so, eith a wonderful speech pathologist, having done the "Speak out" program, I think that I am going to look into the LOUD part of the BIG AND LOUD program. I'll keep everyone in touch with what happens.
