While thinking abut your nutrition, please keep in mind a seemingly little know fact that if you take levadopa, you should take it 30 min before or 60 min after a meal. Protein makes the levadopa less effective.

A good PD diet is lower in protein with more emphasis on fruits and vegetables.A lot of fiber. If you google Parkinson’s Diet your should find some guidance.

My neurology team is less concerned about when I eat meals since I don’t eat a lot of animal protein. They are more adamant that I take them
at the same time every day . I does make a difference. I do take my first dosage an hour or two before eating.

I've lost 28 in about 3 months. But I do this every once in awhile I'll lose weight and then gain it back lose weight and gain it back..
When my husband was first diagnosed, he was depressed and lost some weight because he wasn't hungry. As he got more used to the idea and realized that he wasn't in imminent danger, he got back his appetite. Since he is less active than he used to be, he has put on a few pounds that he would like to lose. He is cutting back on a few foods to cut his calories.
AFAIK, there is no special diet for Parkinson's. Try for an overall healthy diet.
