Tremors can ease when a person relaxes or focuses on them, at least with PD. I don't know about ET or Parkinsonism.

Well, I have to say that one of the reasons my diagnosis is Parkinsonism and not Parkinson’s is because my hand tremor is not typically the one associated with Parkinson’s. Right now the med I take works about 95% of the time, so looking at it today I can’t tell. I think that might have happened a time or two in the past, but now there’s not enough shaking to watch it. I never had rapid shaking. Mine is rhythmic and slower.

Besides moving it, can you get it to slow down or stop by thinking for the muscles to relax?

If you have a hand tremor, just move your hand, and it will stop.
