I just experienced this this morning when I woke up with a 10 rating of tremors. I couldn't move(this is not new) so I am violently shaking, and I started hollering!! Only thing I could do. And this helped me to be able to get up, I was able to unwind myself and get up. I have to tell you that I live alone though. hahahahaha But it worked

Try cbd drops. Very helpful. I also take it when the meds start wearing off

I’m sorry to hear that. Three suggestions, one is to look into assisted living facilities. Another is to talk to your doctor about surgery such as either focused ultrasound or DBS. Another suggestion is to get on a chain where people call each other daily and check in on each other. My mother lived in a condo in Florida and there was a group of women who would call each other everyday and check up on each other.

RosemaryNorman pd is so unpredictable I have many times over the last 8/9 years I thought oh I don’t think I can do this but a few days later completely different so taking it one day at a time is how I deal with it hopefully it is the same for you

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member - You have just discovered one of the best methods for beating PD - change something, anything. When I freeze, I change direction by a millimeter or so or lift a knee & that frees up the neural pathways. When I have trouble with being a human earthquake, I take deep breaths & concentrate on my breathing.

Rosemary Norman, you may want to check into the alert bracelet or necklace for any medical needs. I think this will give you some peace of mind that you can get help if needed.. I can only imagine how scary that was for you. You may want to talk to your Dr regarding your incident.

Happy New Year

Take Care. Eveline
