I tried the NEUPRO patch about ten years ago and it did not improve or deteriorate me from what I can recall. We eventually went to Stalevo and migrated to, Rytary with Inbrija as a supplement when needed for the last two years. This has been the best for me in the 14-15 years I have been under physician care. I honestly cannot remember anything good or bad about the patch.
Each of us are so different, all we can do is share our experiences and try with our physicians recommendations.
So much of it depends on how our specific bodies react and how disciplined we are in our approaches. I remember one horrible medicine that caused me to doze off at various times. Which is not a good thing to do when driving on an interstate!!

Good Luck and Be Safe

I was on the Neupro Patch for awhile, but my PD Doctor has since changed my meds. It is expensive, but like some other drugs, the manufacturer offers a discount program. I think I was paying $10 per month. I too had an issue with skin rash, and my GP prescribed a cream to put on the skin before applying the patch.

When I was newly diagnosed it was prescribed for me. I was very allergic to the adhesive. Had to stop.

I'm sorry Judy. My hubby's doctor never mentioned the patch. What one person takes or uses is not necessarily what someone else does also. Everyone is different, Talk it over with your doctor again! Good luck.
