Body Temperature
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone else have difficulty maintaining their body temperature? I will spike a low grade temp just out of nowhere. My normal temp runs 96.8 (low for most) & it goes up to 100.5 out of the blue; usually at night.

Yes I experience a lot of temperature variations. Actually had unexplained hypothermia a few years back.EMTs couldn’t get an external reading. My core temperature dropped to 92. Only happened once thank goodness!

Just a thought…it could be a reaction to the antibiotic. It would not be the first time.

Understand how you feel. My PCP is the one I have the most faith in as he looks at me as a whole person not the swallowing problem.

Actually, since my primary care doctor is willing to prescribe the c/l , I am comfortable with him managing my health conditions since he knows the "whole me."after 18 years of being my PCP.
