I Often Feel Fatigued And Lethargic And Find It Hard To Get Motivated To Do Exercises.
Constant fatigue is a part of Parkinson's , exercise is the one thing that a lot of literature exist about the positive effects it has on Parkinson's disease progression. Maybe think about that being possible and the effort you put in will be rewarded in some way. It will be difficult and require determination ,but gain strength knowing others are also experiencing similar struggles.
When I feel like I can’t exercise, I know I need to and I make myself get up. Once I’m up and moving I feel better. Once I’ve completed the exercise I feel great. The first move is the hardest, but you can do it!
Me too. It's really hard to get out of the chair sometimes. I find playing loud music helps me get up and do some marching on the spot or dancing. Currently Bob Marley does it for me! Good luck 😁
I agree. Am committed to water exercise but, struggle to get there
With exercise, motivation can be fleeting, so discipline is needed to get started. I'm a runner and there are days I really don't want to do my miles. However, I know I will feel better after I'm done, even on the days that the running is more difficult. So I set a time that I have to get started, and then do it, whether I'm in the mood or not. Same with walking the dog. When it's hot or really cold, I may prefer to stay indoors, but I know our dog needs the exercise and really looks forward to it, so we got out, rain or shine, every single day.
