Get up, get out, and do something. I wouldn’t suggest anything that requires a lot of thought or engagement. Take a walk, go to the beach, got to a park, or anything that you would have enjoyed doing before you stopped doing anything.
Nothing happens if nothing happens. A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step. It’s important to start now while there’s still good weather. Once it gets cold again you’re not going to want to.
It’s as easy as taking the first step. It’s also as hard as taking the first step.
Parkinson's-related apathy can be crushing.
Debilitating. I have struggled with it for 3 years now. No activity seems to help, including pursuits of my old hobbies that I was passionate about .
I am now taking Nuvigil for excessive daytime sleepiness. It helps some with the apathy also.
Perhaps it will help you.
Thank you.
