Hello All!
We just saw an integrated medicine doctor this week. The visit was very uplifting and encouraging! He has my husband drinking a detox shake and taking glutathione capsules. The doctor showed us a video of an older gentleman, who had been exposed to agent orange when he was younger, who was given a glutathione IV and within 30 minutes it seemed his symptoms were gone!! It was absolutely amazing!! Very promising to see the potential
The doctor also recommended mucuna pruriens to… read more
I got Naturebell Mucuna frim Amazon. I took it IN BETWEEN DOSES of SINEMET. C/L.
Now that Im on 4 doses a day of Sinemet, im 90%.
I talked to my m/d neuro about Mucuna. He knows all about it. The problem is this:
No health supplements like herbs, vitamins,
etc are REGULATED. Hence each capsule has a different strength. I just read a study of MUCUNA PRODUCTS -----how much each dose of mucuna product varied from capsule to capsule.
IF ANY HEALTH CARE PRACTITIONER IS RECOMMENDING A PRODUCT- THEY HAVE TO SUPERVISE DOSAGE /TRIAL.
Ive been an alternative medicine person all my life. Until now. Im 61 and newly diagnosed with tremor dominant PD.
I exercise daily. Gym/ ocean swim/ walk/ work as a massage therapist. I started reversing allieviating symptoms with cranio sacral therapy. Now thats worth the money and CANT HARM YOU.
Find a movement disorder specialist neuro.
Trust me PD symptoms dont go away. I thought I would never do massage again. EXERCISE, BOXING, PING PONG, DANCING, RESISTANCE TRAINING ALL HELP AND CANT HURT.
There are pros and con to mucuna:

Glutathione in oral form will not help PD symptoms and the benefits of it in IV form are short-lived and expensive. Mucuna source: https://www.nutrivitashop.com/l-dopa-100-pure-l.... I did purchase a small amount from this supplier but it did nothing for my symptoms.
Anything is worth a try.
Thank you! Yes, in all of my research this week, this was one of the many articles I have read. I believe that it is promising enough that it is worth a try. :-)
