Just curious - What effect did (intentional) weight loss have on your body, when dealing with Parkinson's? How much did you lose and did it reduce your rigidity and difficulty in moving? Your comments on this topic are greatly appreciated!
I lost about 50 pounds over the past year but I needed to went from 230 to 180 I started rocksteady boxing and exercising in March and gained 25 pounds of muscle
When I started my PD meds, I lost about 20-30 pounds. I did not see any reduction in my rigidity, but my movement has decreased. For instance, I had to take our flatscreen tv off the wall for service and noticed how much my shoulder strength had diminished. It took about an hour to stop throbbing.
