For years I have talked to my doctors about my norm being a feeling of general "unwell". Just an underlying almost
flu-ish feeling. One doctor referred to this as"malaise". No one ever hasany solutions.
I was diagnosed w PD about a year and a half ago, but I think I've had PD for at least 10 years.
Now I wonder if this feeling could be a part of Parkinsons.
Does anyone else have this problem?

Ladies, that's why I have an MDS 'Movement Disorder Specialist' Neurologist. They are specifically trained to help you and me.
Ask your doctor!

One of the symptoms of Parkinson’s is apathy, which could definitely be described as malaise. This is also the case for depression, and The flu like symptoms are a common reaction to Parkinson’s medication.

However, the best way to get answers is to talk to your neurologist. This is also an excellent test for your neurologist. If they can’t help it’s time to move in to the MDS.
