I have Parkinson’s and recently had a complete hysterectomy to remove endometrial and cervical cancer. I’ve finished radiation treatment and hoped I would regain my energy and strength but it’s worse. I can hardly get out of bed. Has anyone had this experience with radiation treatment?
Its not surprising that you would have this issue after radiation treatments. Our body is already constantly fatigued by PD. Going through surgery and radiation just piles it on even more. I went through the same surgery and treatment years before I had PD and felt extremely fatigued for weeks. I'm sure with PD it would have to be worse. Also, keep in mind, with the type of cancer you had, as women, really change our system. If it lasts for an extended time you might want tor each out to your Dr. Hope this helps a little.
I had radiation for my breast cancer. This was on top of a year of chemo. The chemo left me with bad neuropathy. On top of the PD I'm tired all the time. Today I slept 14 hours. Hopefully your fatigue will lessen. Good luck to you. <3
