I started to finding times I would put the car into park, but did set the emergency brake. Then as I became a bit weaker in my legs and feeling less steady walking I started to look at my driving.
Though I was tested & cleared for another year to drive a small bus.
I decided, for my passenger's and my safety, to quit driving a bus as a part-time bus driver for our local senior center.
I have also decided to let my wife drive, especially long distance or heavy traffic. I also enjoy watching scenery and read a book.
I've heard that if involved in an accident, because I am driving with PD I could be found at fault. I've not checked that out.
I'm trying to pick my battles. 🤗🙏

This is Rosie 2 , I stop driving because I was afraid might hurt someone. I had just paid off my car !! What a bummer!!

I don't drive any more. I have been tempt but for fear that I would hurt someone or myself, I don't drive.

By not driving now I can see the sights. I just look around and enjoy the view. Of course I have to tell my care giver how to drive (hahaha). I try to relax but sometimes that is hard to do.
