Many thx, Dale. I've never heard of this and will definitely discuss w the pulmonologist!
I took speech therapy w Speak Out Loud. It helped. Then as time went on, my speech became softer and slurred. I'm in a music therapy class on ZOOM now and it helps us project our voices. The instructor also teaches us to exercise the muscles of our face and tongue.🙃
I have a partial collapsed lung with a mass on the other. I apparently have had it a long time and did not know until I moved to another town and had to get a pulmonary doctor. I had bronchitis and bronchestis in the 80’s and early 90’s and apparently that damaged my lungs. I would recommend an x-ray if you are having breathing problems.
Parkinson’s has vocal cord dysfunction as a symptom, therefore it could be that, but it could also be other things that would need to be treated. You should check with your dr to ensure it isn’t something more serious.
Thank you for this suggestion because I have difficulty breathing also.
