Abdominal Distention

We just found out that my husband tested positive for SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth). It’s confirmed by a non-invasive breath test, typically given by a gastroenterologist. The treatment is a course of antibiotics, in my husband’s case, two different ones. Diane, thanks so much for this information. Chris is thin and he has abdominal distinction. It really bothers him. The only answer we ever got was that it's due to his stroke. I think because the distention is mostly one sided (stroke side). I definitely will ask his Dr. about this.
